SEA MOYA NOTHING IS REAL

Gloriously unafraid to completely disregard contemporary song structure, German outfit Sea Moya have just taken their brand of psychedelic kraut-pop to a whole new level with new single ‘Nothing Is Real’. Based out of Cologne/Mannheim, the trio have consistently been pushing boundaries since they first broke out towards the start of 2015. This latest cut marks the announcement of a new EP - Baltic States - coincidentally (or not so coincidentally) inspired by a recent excursion around said Baltics. ‘Nothing Is Real’ nonchalantly sways - funnelling funk-loaded bass lines, crooked guitar licks, twitchy synth twists and shuffling drum patterns into an sensationally groovy and enjoyable track. This is psych-pop at its very best, and with the new Baltic States EP set to drop 26th August via Heist Or Hit, we're expecting a lot of people to quickly realise that Sea Moya are the real deal. -JC
